The vines moved to the phase where the shoots become clearly visible at the end of bunches with 4 to 6 leaves emerging from each. This phase progress very quickly which brings an extra vulnerability to the newly developing blooms against frost risk. Any frost that may occur from now on might have a bigger impact on the vines.
In general, vineyards are awakening and progressing well and widely recovered from the March 17th frost that caused minor damage to the newly surged initial buds. At present, grape gall mites and thrips are pest types that are observed in the vineyards.
